Following the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak, the organizers of the Milan Furniture Fair have announced that the 59th edition of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, together with all the Milan Design Week’s events in the city, has been canceled.
The main exhibition, possibly the world’s most important design and furniture fair, which had to take place from April 21 to 26 at the Fiera di Milano exhibition center in Rho Pero, is now scheduled from 13 to 18 April 2021. All the collateral events, including the Salone Satellite, and the dozens of special events and exhibitions which form the Milan Design Week throughout the northern Italian city, have been postponed to 2021; therefore, despite all efforts by the organizers, the 2020 editions of the Milan Furniture Fair and Milan Design Week won’t take place.
